Re: Querix. Any Good ?

Querix? Any Good? I was discussing it today with a colleague who is evaluating it. Initially Querix would handle all INFORMIX database statements with not problem. The Querix decided to go DBMS independent and decided that as some INFORMIX SQL is "non-standard" (whatever that means in this industry??) that they would not support those statements any more. I guess if they do the same for all database suppliers there won't be much that can be achieved in the end. My view is that Querix have not yet finished defining the product and I ask the question:- Would you drive a car that the designers were still working on?
