ODBC session time-out?

Greetings -- Is there some way to have Access97 / Windows95 (or Informix) time-out an open ODBC connection? I was considering having 100+ machines use a small Access97 database as a client to hit an Informix server. I would like to avoid, however, needing to license Informix for 100+ simultaneous ODBC connections since the Access clients would only be used for a few seconds every few hours. I could simply have users close Access every time they are done with the interface, and have them re-open it when they need that connection again, but I would much rather have them just leave it (idle) in the background. The ideal solution would be one where Access stays open on all of the machines, but if the ODBC connection to the server has been idle for 3 minutes it is dropped and a new session established whenever the client gets around to attempting a new query. Any ideas? Thanks, Jay
