CIO: Data warehouse success stories

The November 1 issue of CIO magazine has a big cover story (by Carol Hildebrand) entitled: Data Warehouse Game Plans--Developing a System Without Getting Fouled. "The construction of a data warehouse begins with a careful attention to the overall architecture. The builders must figure out which data they want to access, in what form and how it will flow through the organization. The technology decisions should wait." This important article includes three data warehouse documentaries, and a checklist of "building codes" for a data warehouse.
