Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
I want to put together a database system where a 4GL program running on
an SCO UNIX machine can talk "over the network" to an Informix database
which is running on an NT server.
Can anyone tell me if everything I need to do this comes with Informix-4GL?
Do I need to run Informix-Connect (or anything else) on the SCO system?
Can I do this with ODBC instead?
I want to avoid having to run the database engine itself on SCO. The Informix
database in question is the Dynamic Server Workgorup Edition.
Thanks for any help!
