Work Group Server ON APPLE OSX 10.5 ????

I currently run IDS Workgroup Server 10.0 on redhat linux enterprise 3 I have used apple servers and like them. We have adapting OSX's open directory for authentication. Is IDS 11.5 available in work group server for the Apple OSX 10.5? Has anyone really using it in real world and know that it is stable? Can Informix use the Apple open directory users to authenticate against? Any one have an opinion if the onconfig files would be very different between Red Hat Linux and Apple instances? Given same level of hardware, any opinion on which would be "faster" doing same database tasks?

Bill, We have been using IDS on several 10.5 laptops / desktops for development. We have been using it since the first beta and it has proven to be reliable (it's Informix after all). On the Linux side we use Ubuntu and the config files are very similar. Re: perf and Apple open directory, I cannot comment...
