Software Connections, Inc. is currently recruiting for the following client requirement. Position: Sr. Database Analyst / Administrator Location: Littleton, MA Type: Direct Salary: Commensurate with Experience Client company seeks a senior database professional with a background in project management, client/server application data modeling, database design and tuning work to be responsible for the administration of Informix and Oracle databases. Responsibilities 1. Installs, updates, maintains and tunes large integrated Informix and Oracle databases in SAP R/3. 2. Plans and performs installations, major and version upgrades and patches for Informix and Oracle. Qualifications 1. BS in computer related field or equivalent experience. 2. Five to seven years of experience in UNIX and C programming, Oracle, Informix, SQL Server database administration. 3. Solid working knowledge of UNIX and Shell Scripting required while experience with Oracle on an NT platform is a definite plus. 4. Experience with SAP R/3 Security Administration with emphasis on profiles, authorizations and performance monitoring. 5.
