Moving informix to a new system

We are moving from one set of hardware to another this weekend. The systems are pretty much the same, other than the fact that the new one has more memory etc. We have tested the move before and it worked with out issues, today when we try this "live" we are getting the following error when we try to restore - using onbar. 2003-04-05 08:53:00 54896 10604 /informix/bin/onbar_d -r -p -w 2003-04-05 08:53:16 54896 10604 Successfully connected to Storage Manager 2003-04-05 08:53:16 54896 10604 XBSA Error (BSAGetObject): Attempt to aut e informix failed. Hi, hmm. "AIX shop" means you're using Tivoli ? or ADSM ? Possible problems I can currently think of : a) user informix is not registered as user/admin for the Storage Manager ? [ For ISM this would be "ism_add -admin informix@<machine name>", done as user root right after "ism_startup -init". I'm not sure if there's something similar for the SM that you're using. You might check ... ] b) your user informix on the new machine may have a different numerical userid (check with "id" at the UNIX command prompt) than on the old machine ?
