Online comes with update statistics

Hi there, I am running Informix Online Dynamic Server 7.1 on a SunOS 5.5.1, the problem I am facing is that the Informix Online system comes down (database is shutdown) when I perform the folowing Update statistics - update statistics low for table tt041000431f_002; update statistics medium for table tt041000431f_002; update statistics high for table tt041000431f_002 ( orgu_numb_supp, orgu_numb_rpnt, orgu_numb_osup, smvt_type_code, itmg_strc_numb, itgt_code_prnt,itmg_unum_prnt) I am running the following statements thru an ESQL-Cobol program. The table in question does not have any rows at the time of Update statistics. The above statements do not create any problems when they are run thru DBACCESS. Any help on the above issue will highly appreciated. Thanks Dilip
