ODBC problems & Access97

Dear all, We are having problems with our ODBC drivers (Informix 2.80.0005) using Access97 to link through to Dynamic Server 7.3 engine. No worries with linked tables in Access from 1 database but connectivity problems with tables from 2 or more databases thereafter. Can anyone suggest a workround or perhaps a more suitable driver? Also, I know it has been discussed in the past, but what do people feel about about Access as a suitable GUI front end form builder?
