MCI announced yesterday that it has selected Informix as one of its corporate standards. Many companies choose Informix because it is a superior database to Oracle. Informix support is superior to Oracle, Oracle's marketing is better than Informix. Informix is finally getting its marketing up to a higher level. This should help. As far as current market prices, I would say Informix is the best buy in the short term, and the extended long term (10 or more years). - Randy.
