But at least in the Informix ONLINE 7.1 you can turn on and off the logging with the following commands: For Turning on unbuffered logging: ontape -s -U databasename For turning on buffered logging: ontape -s -B databasename For turning on ansi logging: ontape -s -A databasename For turning off logging: ontape -N databasename.
