4GL and ISQL Compatibility
hi all, we have two versions of I4GL and ISQL here in production. They are running against IDS 9.40FC9W2, host systems of the IDS are Solaris 9 and 10, host systems of the 4gl programs are Solaris 9 and Reliant Unix 5.44. The versions of 4GL and ISQL are: Reliant Unix: INFORMIX-4GL Version 7.20.UD6 INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.20.UD6 Solaris IBM INFORMIX-4GL Interactive Debugger Version 7.32.FC3 IBM INFORMIX-4GL Version 7.32.FC3 IBM INFORMIX-4GL Rapid Development System Version 7.32.FC3 IBM INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.32.FC3 My questions: - Are these versions compatible with IDS 11.50.FCx? - Or have we to upgrade or recompile or similar? - Where can I find new versions of I4GL if neccessary? I apologize but I could not find answeres neither with google nor at IBM's web site. I would also be glad with some appropriate links. TIA, Reinhard.
No problems. Both versions are fully compatible with IDS 11.50.
