Run 'onstat -g glo'. This will give you a list of virtual processors that
your current instance is running, and their UNIX pid's. 16 oninits sounds a
lot, though. How many CPU and AIO vp's have you set up?

"Alot" is a relative term. I run 170 or more oninit processes on our
production systems. 28 CPU, pio, lio, msc, adm, 8 NET, 130-170 aio VPs.
Depends on how many CPUs, whether the logical and/or physical log
dbspaces use Informix mirroring or not, whether or not KAIO is enabled,
in addition to, as you mentioned, number of aio VPs.
