The obvious one is why? Check out the tpc web site, there is enough pseudo-sql for the various tests to get you started. Of course, that's less useful now that companies are actually optimizing their products to do well on the benchmarks (ref. Oracle's MS challenge). You're generally better off coming up with some representative data and queries, then renting time (and a consultant) in a performance lab to do some comparisons. It can be a little pricy (depending on your scale) but it will give you better results than you could otherwise obtain. -Richard
