Re: Disatisfied customers

One thing I would like informix to change is that when we get an upgrade from you, informix automatically switches their tech support to the new s/n. Well, sometimes we decide not to upgrade, and then every time we call informix it's a hassle because your tech support system has the new s/n. We have to call tech support, give them the "old" s/n, explain our situation, get transferred to customer service, explain what's going on to them, they approve it and then get transferred back to tech support. thanks, Jack Parker wrote in message <662c0q$n90@cssun.mathcs.emory.edu>... > >Over the past couple of days there were a couple of posts complaining about >Informix maintenance contract snafus.
