RE: PDQ not used ?

Hi Bjorn.
Make sure your parameter of onconfig file.
DS_MAX_QUERIES # Maximum number of decision support queries
DS_TOTAL_MEMORY # Decision support memory (Kbytes)
If the avobe parameter is space, probably PDQ will not run.
Specify DS_MAX_QUERIES and DS_TOTAL_MEMORY.
HTH.

Hello,
Thx a lot for your answer. I've checked it out and those queries are filled
in.
Do you know of any queries or dbase handling which will make the PDQ run for
sure ? (Visible in active queries with onstat -g mgm)
Or is it because I'm single user on a server with 2 gig of ram and shared
memory set to max 1.5 gig
Thx a lot,
Bjorn

Include SET PDQPriority 100; at the beginning of a SQL statement to make sure it runs in PDQ. You can also set environment variable for a job/account to make this setting a little more global.
