It could well be that you have some uncleared shared memory or
semaphores stopping the engine from coming up subsequently. Use ipcs
to see if there is any shared memory lying around after the crash and
ipcrm to remove it.
However, Sujit is correct in that you need to ascertain the underlying
cause. Otherwise this will not go away! ;-)
