Informix in SCO Xenix

-> I have informix ver2.1 running on a SCO Xenix platform. I got the -> error "Kernel: WARNING: no file" when there are two or more persons -> running informix applications. (i.e. sql, 4gl, ... etc) Is there a -> way to fix it???? Thanks in advanced. Are all users using the same userid. The way to cure this is to adjust the NFILE parameter using the configure utility in /usr/sys/conf. NFILE is under option 3. I often set this to 500 for my applications The alternative is to use more than one userid and "grant connect to public" from sql and to put them in the same group. Mike Chatwood.
