Dynamic Link for ESQL/C ?

We have an application with several dozen ESQL/C programs, and the default linkage seems to be static. The binaries are large, even after stripping them. I can't find a dynamic link (shared) library to link against. I know about the shared library for 4GL, but I can't find one for ESQL/C. I don't see anything in the FAQ. Does anyone know any library names or linkage incantations? We're running Online 7.12 on AIX. thanks, dwight
