On AIX 4.2 with OWS 7.20.UC2, I had a deadlock situation twice in a short time : nobody could work, and an onstat gave the message : checkpoint required, blocked. I had to stop Informix (onmode -k) and restart (oninit). I guess that some user threads where blocking the checkpoints ? Guy
