sqlcode -408

Chris Hagenstad Writes -> We are seeing an intermittent problem with Informix where it returns -> an sqlcode of -408, with the message Invalid message type received -> from the sqlexec process....The documentation refers to this error as -> a should-not- occur type error. The problem occurs maybe once a day, -> and has been difficult to track down what's causing it. Any -> suggestions would be appreciated... I had this problem a couple of years ago with a table, bcheck said the table was fine but to be on the safe side I unloaded then table to an ascii file and recreated it only to find that there were duplicate records (the table had a unique index) in ascii file along with other corruption I dont know what caused the problem but it doesnt appear to have re occured.
