With certain tables we could not see the Indexes. After much research we settled on Openlink (http:\\\\www.openlink.co.uk), which are far from perfect, but are more compatible, and very fast. Avoid Intersolv and I*Net. I*Net is the slowest way on earth to access Informix. Use multi-tier drivers. They skip I*Net and talk to a daemon on the server side. SQR Retriever is multi-tier as well and has more features than Openlink. Definitely try before you buy. ...Michael... DART, Inc.
