Need help with Redbrick constraints

At the office I am working on a shell scripts which calls an external program which loads a delimited text file into a Redbrick table. I have used this program successfully before, but now I am getting a constraint error. The error message names the field which is causing the problem (an integer field), but the error message does not say why it failed. So the big question is, "can I somehow find out what the nature of the constraint is ? (i.e. find out what kind of data integrity checking it is performing)
