New Era: Nice graphical tool. (OK, so I am being kind ;-) Q: Porting an New Era app from Windows to UNIX [X / Motif] ? A: Forget it. Q: Why? A: Because Informix has not supported the motif version as well as their windows version. Since the support for the motif version has dwindled, it is not recommended to plan on an app porting easily. You will find more problems in trying to port from Windows to Motif than its worth. Now in Informix's defense, they have more customers wanting PC / UNIX client server versus UNIX / UNIX client server. So they make more money supporting the windows version. - Mikey
