hi all: I am running informix workgroup online sever with solaris 5.6. I am new to this, and I have a couple easy ones. 1. how much shared memory do you put in /etc/system file in relative to system rams? 2. how do you allocate raw disk device for chunks? suppose I have a disk (9 gig), what do I need to do to use that entirly for a partitcular dbspace? thank you very much, if not too much trouble, please email response. thanks. yan
