The Informix list news-to-mail gateway seems to have been suffering from a glitch and downloading random non-Informix postings. It has also been suffering from some fairly major (multi-day) delays in forwarding postings. The list managers are trying to recover from this. In the mean time, please be patient, quietly delete the messages, and don't bug the people who sent them as they are completely innocent in the matter -- it is *NOT* their fault. I'm not clear whether this is infecting the purely newsgroup edition of comp.databases.informix, but it is certainly affecting the mail relay.
