Asp connect to Informix

Hello there, I'm trying to connect ASP pages (working under IIS6) to informix db (working in Suse Linux Environment), using this string: <% ------------------------ Connection.Open = "driver={Informix-CLI 3.82 (32 Bit)};Server=hp570_1;Database=demo;Uid=usrdemo;Pwd=demo00;" ------------------------ and then Sql = "SELECT sdpri0, sdpri1, tec_sdpri0, tec_sdpri1 FROM sdpri" Set Example = Connection.Execute(SQL) arrView = Example.GetRows %> but the Connection.Open string seems not to work Can anyony help me to find out the solution ? I think your connection string should look like as follows. However what's an error you are getting? Connection.Open = "Provider=MSDASQL;driver={IBM INFORMIX 3.82 32 Bit };Server=hp570_1;Database=demo;Uid=usrdemo;Pwd=demo00;" To get the exact name of the IBM Informix ODBC driver installed in your system, go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Data Sources (ODBC) and click on "Drivers" tab. What to do is not to explicit driver, server, database and so on. Just check: 1) ODBC connection must be "System DSN". 2) Make sure the informix setnet32 entries are correct. Then, the right sintax is: ---------------- Connection.Open = "DSN=sysdsn;" ---------------- That's the solution, obtained with Help from <Sheshnarayan Agrawal> that I thanks a lot.
