I believe you need these values long before that time. These are used by MI_WEBPUSHVARS to select which variables are passed to webexplode. A "!" in front of the variable does not pass that variable to webexplode. Any variable not needed inside webexplode (like those above) can be setup this way. (if MI_WEBPUSHVARS is on) A "+" in front of the variables indicates that only these variables will be passed to webexplode. (If MI_WEBPUSHVARS is on) According to the web blade manual, a "?" immediately following the name of the variable will allow you to override that variable (in AppPage, HTML or URL). You need these ("!", "+") usually when dealing with AppPage caching. Check your release notes $INFORMIXDIR/extend/web*/doc*/*.TXT to see if this is applicable to you (depending on your version)! The manual says that you can NOT override REMOTE_USER and MI_WEBACCESS_LEVEL (or something like that). Doesn't say anything about the Vars you specify, and I've never really tried it with those variables. Tony -- Antonio J. Salerno, Jr. asalerno@monmouth.com ICQ: http://wwp.mirabilis.com/1406681
