64bit and 32bit compatability

We have compiled some ACE reports and ISQL forms using ISQL 7.32.FC2 for AIX 5.2 64 bit. We now find that we have to downgrade to ISQL 7.32.UC2 for AIX 5.3 32 bit. The reason is that a third party package uses 32bit informix libaries and we are encountering compatability issues. What does the panel think about our chances of getting away without recompiling the ACE reports and forms? (don't anybody ask me why the third party is still in the dark ages - they've been there for the past 18 years to my knowledge and aren't getting any better.) regards Malcolm sending to informix-list
