Questions about using two different databases
Here's how I do it:
Two databass in two directory structuers with the same name but
different dbpath variables do the trick. I set up a shared section and
under that a unique section. Since I deal with TV stations that
sometimes have two seperate channels, i use the call letters for the
unique section:
BASE=/u/protrack
DBASE=/u/protrack/$STATION
DBPATH=$DBASE
Before setting the DBASE and DBPATH, I set STATION to wxxx or wyyy
Each DBASE Directory can then have it's own 4ge or 4gi files as well as
it's own .frm a.d .ace files.
This makes updates a breeze as well.
