TEXT support after version 5.1

Hi! Can anyone tell me if the TEXT support changes after version 5.1? More specifically, does version 7 support Updating a TEXT column with the Update statement (as in Set TextColumn = "Abc..."). TIA! Roger Meyers roger@stratsoft.com Strategic Software Solutions, San Francisco, CA
