An initial 32 gigabyte decision support system will allow Transamerica Commercial Finance's marketing and finance departments to query current market and financial information in its transaction processing system to analyze trends and make fast, educated decisions on lending arrangements tailored to customers' needs. Once the initial applications are validated later in 1994, Transamerica Commercial Finance plans to move all of its mission-critical core financial processing applications including its lending, billing, portfolio management, and core transaction systems management to OnLine Dynamic Server.
