You use Microsoft TCP/IP, which means your Informix product can communicate with TCP/IP stack only through Windows Sockets (winsock.dll) library. So, you must use I-NET v. 5.xx. Previous versions of I-NET used another TCP/IP stacks: FTP Software's, DEC's, SUN's and so on. (Of course you can use DEC's TCP/IP stack on your PC to connect with SUN and vice versa, it doesn't matter). So, try harder with I-NET 5.01. Sincerely yours, Michal Hobot doctorq@sam.nask.com.pl
