We did that for "ontape" (version 6.0), but I think that
it should be good for "tbtape" too.
First, you create with "vi" a file, say "ontape_infile".
You do:
vi ontape_infile
Then within vi, just hit <RETURN>,
then save it :wq
The real script (say "ontape_script" ) would be:
===========================================================
#! /bin/sh
/informix/bin/ontape -s -L 2 <ontape_infile >ontape_ofile &
===========================================================
Replace "ontape" with "tbtape".
Then you can schedule this job with crontab.
Do not forget to chmod 777 this script.
Hope this tip can help you.
