As was discussed in this news group within the last month, bugs have to be reported by customers through official channels if they are to be fixed. Raising it in a forum like this achieves very little. You have to contact your Informix Technical Support centre and report it. Of course, that means you actually have to have an Informix technical support contract, too. Nevertheless, unless the bug is reported through the channels and given a high enough priority by you, the customer, there is no guarantee that it will ever get fixed. Specifically, if I or any of my colleagues enter a bug based on a report in this forum, it will be given the lowest available priority, simply because it does not have an identifiable customer case number associated with it. So, if you want this fixed, you have to report it. If I want it fixed (and I do), I have to get you to report it so that it stands some chance of being fixed.
