New Era Newbie Question

Hi, all. I hope, you dont mind a newbie question here. I checked the manuals but cant find satisfying answers. I started to write my first New Era 2.0 (Dos-Windows) applications. My obversation is, that the code assigned to objects can be rather long in real applications which seems to be bad to me for several reasons including readability. Moreover the editor is not good for writing large numbers of lines of code. Surely this CAN be solved by storing code in external 4GL files. My question now is if there is a standard way of deciding which parts of code to store in the not .wif 4GL files and to handle the fact that your application then consists of files coming from the window painter and others that dont. Am I heading the right direction? Please help. Dirk !---------------------------------------------------------------------! ! Dirk Gunsthoevel phone: +49 (0)251 624947 ! !
