Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 12.10.FC6X5 -- Updatable (SDS) -- Up
03:46:16 -- 1950676 Kbytes
I'm testing things before releasing the first SDS server, and I'm finding
thing I didn't expect:
I create a lock in Primary:
begin work;
delete from kk where 1 =1;
Updatable SDS:
.-If I launch it fast enough I see the original rows in repeatable read
isolation:
echo "set isolation repeatable read; select * from kk"|dbaccess edog
Database selected.
Isolation level set.
1
3
3
4
1
5 row(s) retrieved.
Database closed
.- After few seconds I see no rows (lock still there...):
echo "set isolation repeatable read; select * from kk"|dbaccess edog
Database selected.
Isolation level set.
k
No rows found.
Database closed.
Is this the expected behavior? Am I missing something?
