The IIUG is pleased to announce an E-Mail discussion list for Informix Dynamic Server - Personal Edition (IDS-PE). IDS-PE is a single-user version of the core Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) product and can be used on Windows 95 and NT. Its purpose is to allow individual users to have their own version of IDS for both personal use and application development. Informix is currently sponsoring a public evaluation for IDS-PE. We invite you to download it from: http://www.iiug.org/software/special_software/idspe/ After you have downloaded and tested it, please use the IDS-PE E-Mail list to provide ideas, suggestions, description of bugs, and other feedback. Also, tell us how YOU use IDS-PE. Informix will use your suggestions to further enhance the product. The E-Mail list will also be used to provide IDS-PE updates and announce new downloads. To join the list, send E-Mail to majordomo@iiug.org and include the following two lines in the text of the message: subscribe idspe-list end You will quickly receive E-Mail messages explaining how to use the list. Thank you, Ron M. Flannery
