Art, When I unload sysdistrib table from the old DB and i try to load the data into the sysdistrib table of the new DB, i get this error : -847 error in load file 1 sql error -9364 : no cast from lvarchar to stat do i need to do something special on the reload? Thanks

I would not recommend mucking around with the system catalog.... there is a thing called Distribution cache as well which does not get handled if you load/delete whatever of the sysdistrib. (onstat -g dsc) so i would say DO NOT.
