Repository Architects

Eidea Labs is a recent commercial spin-off from Photon Research Associates. We have an ambitious charter of developing a new "component model" that will help realize the "Virtual Enterprize Desktop" vision. We are designing end-to-end frameworks (HCI, Middleware, Web and Repository frameworks) within a data-centric component architecture to enable semantic agent based interoperatibility for domain EII/NII applications. Our Repository Applications framework will provide an object-oriented document model for components with content-centric state and behavioral properties. We are building enterprise-wide project management and collaboratory information sharing (groupware) products using this open framework. We are looking for a few talented and highly motivated individuals to join the Repository team with the following desired qualifications : - Conceptual and pratical understanding of current database architectures including ORDBMS, OODBMS, and MDDBMS. - Understanding of Interoperable Component Architectures and Distributed object computing. - Knowledgable in OOA/OOD, middleware tools and C++. - Knowledge of OpenDoc, Broadway, Active-X, Macromedia and associated technologies will be a plus.
