Web Datablade Date Format

I use an Informix Dynamic Server 7.3 with the Web Datablade and Netscape Fasttrack on HPUX 10.20. My problem is the format of DATE values. Usually I set the DBDATE variable to DMY4. That definition occurs in all .profile .cshrc of the unix accounts informix and the Fasttrack user. But in a web page the date appears as MM/DD/YY. Do I have to format the date with variable processing functions of the datablade?
