Rollforward of Informix Database

We have an Informix Database (Informix Version 4 SE) with records for number of different divisions coexisting in a set of Informix Tables (The records are selected by a unique division code.). We have just installed another copy of the database at a site in New Zealand and this contains the same set of tables but records for only the local New Zealand division. To maintain a copy of the New Zealand division records in the central database (located in Australia) it has been suggested that each night we transfer the transaction log (recovery log written by Informix) from New Zealand to Australia and roll it forward against the central database. The central database also containing the records for all other divisions. Will this work??? Or would we have to set up an identical copy of the New Zealand database separate from the Central database. Regards Bob Tudor
