Informix Enterprise REplication CDR lets you make replication between two not equal machines with different configuration ( that means quantity of memory , dbspaces,hard disk,etc). This version of replication is an upgrade of High Avialability Data Replication HDR the first try of Informix replication ( than use to have the above problem). I had make some proobes with ER in Solaris 2.5 and it functions. The configuration its not difficult and CDR lets you replicate some tables or queries applied to a table, i.e not the entire database. I see u are working with SCO and DSA 7.22, I'd like to know if you had tried ER in this platform. Please let me know about it because i am trying replication SCO-SOLARIS. Regards, Javier Puente
