Francisco, here is some explanation:
There is no such thing 'HPL Replication'!
But you can use the HPL (High Performance Loader)
to copy databases upto approx 500 GB, depending
on your disk & network connection speed.
When we do this, it goes like this:
(in fact it works somehow similar to cpio -p, in terms
what one can archieve with it - see man cpio)
1) drop all tables on target machine
2) run table creation statements on target
3) run the HPL load job for every and each table
This load job reads from pipe. This pipe is
'the other end' of a HPL unload job on the source machine
sending all unloaded data over the network (e.g. rsh or rexec)
That means to load at the very same time when the unload
is under way
4) rebuild all indexes on target
5) add all constraints
6) CAUTION: you must manually take precaution for
copy of the latest version of the stored procedures!
There is also no support whatsoever for any kind of
changes to the data definitions - it is a pure copying
of the contents of the tables.
And, as already someone else pointed out: source maschine
must be all quiet during the process.
But, as the OP pointed out, they do frequent changes
to their tables, which is a show stopper here. Although
there is onpladm, it is still NO WAY to go.

Why not add Art Kagel's myschema utility to the mix to get the current
schema from the AIX box?
HTH.
