Re: Unix- HELP! Are we being bluffed?

The best solution I can suggest for you is a product called Hotkey which is a superb terminal emulator, is written in South Africa, works with WFW, allows for through-printing and will do a lot more for you. Call us if you want to know more. Secondly, Informix 4GL(on which Fourgen is based) does not run well on a GUI at all!. All you can hope to do is run an emulation through to the Unix box from WFW. Unless they have re-worked Fourgen under New Era the product is a Unix based product and that is it. By the way, we market an Informix based Retail package. Any interest? gfrank (gfrank@iafrica.com) wrote: : We are a multi-branch retail company, Buildware Market, in South Africa. : We purchased Fourgen as the software to run our business, including aspects such : as point-of-sale, financials, stock control, etc. We are in the process of implementing : the software at our first branch.
