ESQL/C

Hi, My name is Burt Smith. I'm with the UNISYS Corp. We have an old version of INFORMIX (ver 5.0). I'm attempting to add a DATETIME variable (MONTH TO HOUR) with a INTERVAL data type (HOUR(5) TO HOUR). I gleaned enough information from the 4GL docs to accomplish this. However, I'm not smart enough to figure how to do this via ESQL/C. The ESQL/C Programmers Manual (Version 5.0) didn't offer any examples on adding DATETIME and INTERVAL data types. Please help.
