I want to say we will be doing HDR, if I got the right set of letters with the right process. ER or HDR? I *think* both are possible, I seem to recall you need to use relative pathnames for HDR to work. HDR is going to be tough to do on a single server. It is possible on UNIX
by using relative path names and then being sure to start the engine and
ontape in the correct directories. Sorta - but not highly suggested.
Question - since the purpose of HDR is to provide HA for the failure of
physical media, why are you setting up HDR on a single server. That's
going to be forcing you onto a common physical media, which sort of defeats
the goal of HA.
