HELP!! - PB4/INFORMIX ONLINE 6.0 DateTime problems

HI, I'm running PowerBuilder 4.0 app with Informix OnLine 6.0 on DEC Alpha 2100. My problem is: I have fields defined in tables as: updt_timestamp datetime year to fraction(3) default current year to fraction(3) In a PB4 datawindow, I'm inserting(dw_1.Update()) a row in a table with field defined as above, and it is placing blanks in the field instead of the current datetime. In PB 3.0a, I had no problem. If I use an SQL INSERT statement in the PB4 script, I have no problem. It appears to be only with DataWindow (updates or inserts). I have the field selected as an updateable column, also. I know that PB4 default value for datetimes is 'datetime year to fraction(5). Could this be the problem? If it is, how can I change the default to 'datetime year to fraction(3)' in PB4? By the way, I'm using Informix's I-NET v5.x native driver. I'm not using an ODBC driver.
