C preproccesor

I have a problem with a file of the Informix's preproccesor 9.20 TC1 who is included in the SDK 2.2 although I have got the same error with SDK 2.1. This error happens in sqlproto.h when I compiled with MS Visual C++ 5.0 and it starts in the function: int __cdecl ifx_lo_specset_flags(ifx_lo_create_spec_t *cspec, int flags); Then, I always get the next errors: c:\\informix\\incl\\esql\\sqlproto.h(170) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before '*' c:\\informix\\incl\\esql\\sqlproto.h(170) : error C2143: syntax error : missing '{' before '*' c:\\informix\\incl\\esql\\sqlproto.h(170) : error C2059: syntax error : 'type' c:\\informix\\incl\\esql\\sqlproto.h(170) : error C2059: syntax error : ')' I get some warnings also.
