problem with insert and delete key

We have some programs in which users are not allowed to insert or delete rows in an array. As a solution we map the INSERT KEY and DELETE key in informix to CONTROL-C with the OPTIONS statement. This always worked fine until now. We upgraded some of our terminals now with PC's. These PC have keys like <Insert>, <Delete>, <Pgup> and so on. And the <Insert> and <Delete> keys are in informix used for inserting and deleting rows in an array in the same way the function keys used to work. However, even if we remap with the OPTIONS statement the <Insert> and <Delete> keys still work. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? (We don't want to mess with termcap/terminfo, 'cause in other case it IS a nice feature.
